Here is how I would have went through it. Since I would be mistrusting people, I wouldn't leave my room unless necessary, and my door is locked. I will also be checking every hiding spot. During the trial, I won't speak unless spoken to or I have evidemc tha contradicta something. If someone wanted to soendtimenwithbme andnI agree; the have to prove they have no weapons first. So I will be targeted by maybe Celeste or Byakuya, but if they don't target me, I could survive.

I think I know what are the main things in cases of Danganronpa !! SPOILERS !! 1st Case: The culprit or victim is somebody the main character has spend a lot of time with, let's pretend SDR2 doesnt exist in this one (DRV3 has Kaede being the "culprit" herself). 2nd Case: A bestie of a character is the culprit or victim (Danganronpa 1 having Mondo and Taka, Danganronpa 2 having Peko and Fuyuhiko and Danganronpa V3 having Kirumi and LITERALLY EVERYONE) 3rd Case: There are always two murders, and they are usually characters you expected to go further into the game, but yeah... also the culprit always goes crazy (Celeste, Mikan and Kiyo) 4th Case: The buff person is the one to die as a s*icide, being killed or just being the culprit, and it's mostly the chapter many people cry 5th Case: An almost unsolvable case, with DRV3 having one that was TOTALLY UNSOLVABLE if Kaito didn't reveal himself as the culprit in the end, and the character you liked the most died in it (or expected to die in DR1's case) 6th Case: THE MASTERMIND IS REVEALED!!! And it's mostly revealed to be Junko in all games, but DRV3 made it SEEM like it was Junko, so that Tsumugi could finally be revealed as the mastermind

When people talk about the cast having a killer among them they usually mean a killer who has killed on of the cast so if kaede used the first blood perk to stay with the group but then they would have to live with her knowing she’s killed one of them already

As you might have already heard from the announcement video I did, I'll be the Scenario Writer on Kumitantei: Old-School Slaughter! Kumitantei: Old-School Slaughter is a new murder-mystery adventure game inspired by Danganronpa and the works of Rumiko Takahashi (Urusei Yatsura), with gameplay ranging from deck-building and tense card battles to classic visual novel socialising and puzzle-solving! Is survival in the cards?

Can't wait to see it.

so for the people who wanna know what knife monopoly is: You play regular monopoly, but every time you buy a house you balance a steak knife on the edge of a shelf that is suspended above you. When someone lands on that property, prior to paying you, they get the option to jump up and down on the ground to possibly shake a knife loose. They have to pay double rent for this option. If you get stabbed in the back by a knife, then you lose that property and the houses on that set of properties is cleared from the board. The knives associated with those properties are also removed from the shelf. If you put a hotel down, then you have to balance a large kitchen knife on the business shelf. If you get stabbed by that knife, you lose a single hotel. If you die from that knife, then you lose 2 hotels.

The biggest wasted potential for me is Hiyoko. If Fuyuhiko died instead of Hiyoko (like originally planned), his arc would still somewhat wrap up. Keeping him around is nice but Hiyoko could have filled his role on top of getting a complete character arc. She doesn’t even get a thematically good death. Mikan gets the Plot Contrivance Disease and kills her… for being a witness to her other murder? Not for bullying her for three chapters? Okay.

Kaede it could have been cool if there were a musical reference or a bit more purple
